Starting a nuc

    I was wondering if it is too late in the year to start a nuc in southwest tn. I would like to but im not sure they will be ok this late. Thanks much as always.

    Probably too late this fall, even down there. Patience grasshopper, wait until spring.

    Yep. What Cam said. You want the strongest possible going into winter.

    I wouldn't even try it in Texas. Hoping none of my hive swarm and start any for me. NO queen cells on Sunday when I went through them all
