Hi all!! We've had our package of bees installed for about a month now (our first time keeping bees). In our inspection yesterday, we found what looks like one supercedure cell. We've had lots of hatched brood, found the queen (and literally watched her lay an egg) and still a decent amount of new larva. About a week ago we added our second brood box to the hive, as the first box appeared about 80% full (so they should have a decent amount of space).
Is this a supercedure cell (same picture, just one with the cell circled)? thoughts/tips on anything we should do? I didn't look for larve in the cell (silly in hindsight)...I'm planning to go back in around weds and see if anything has changed. Didn't see any more of these or notice during our inspection
Thanks so much!!
