Swarm captured

    I was able to get this swarm into my hive. I did put a reducer on it but was wondering how long to keep it on and any other tips to keep it safe. IMG_3449.jpg

    feed them lots of sugar water inside the hive..this will prevent robbing and give them a good reason to stay around...keep entrance reducer on till they get established and the numbers grow, in a few weeks check for new brood to make sure the queen survived...
