We had two that came and stayed just a couple of days or so and then took off to parts unknown.

well it happened again today got swarm call at 2:30 bees had just landed on a back side of a camper. I got home and called about 4:30 the guy said there was about 12 bees left he wasnt for sure if they was going to come back but he didnt think the queen was still there. my guess they either swarmed and the queen didnt follow or there scouts bee are incredibly fast :D

As soon as you get the call, you need to head that way. When the bees stop, they can be there from an hour to 3 days. You can never judge.

Watch those four letter words... You can be banned from redneck land for that one... :drinks:

I have known very few to stay overnight. Never for more than a night and a day, unless they set up housekeeping or the queen couldn't continue on.

Ive got all my swarms this year(3 Swarms) that people have called me on. Last year i had two people that called me back and the bees had already left so i guess im getting faster at getting over there to them. I just did a swarm removal at our local casino. Approx 4 lbs. I should have pictues from them tommorow to post.

Sorry bout the "W" word Iddee lol
We picked up a swarm today that had moved into a compost bin a few days ago. I figured it had left since I didnt hear back from him but called today and he said they had stayed. They had a little 5 yr old girl there and she really had a great time w/ these gentle girls. I took an extra hod w/ and put it on her. She had a blast as did the parents! Drew me a bee picture and everthing! They promised to send me pics of my removal.
