What happened here?
I't been a few months since I have been here but this place used to be busy.
I was thinking the same thing
ya its as dead as the honey production in florida atm
I wondered the same thing.
Iddee and his crowd moved to another site.
The bee forums are all pretty quiet.
I've been up to my ear lobes in honey bees the past couple of months.
I've caught 32 swarms so far and have 12 trap outs going and 15 more to setup.
I've been trying to rebuild after the tornado earlier this month wiped out one of my beeyards, mostly my Nucs.
I had a second swarm in 3 days move into one of my bait boxes. This one was massive! I don't know how they all fit in that five frame nuc. I gave them a full hive, a frame of honey and all the syrup they can suck down today. They swarmed with a brand new queen as well :-D
It was a massive prime swarm, and a few cast swarms have gone. There are a few scouts that keep checking in from time to time.
