Well I guess I left more than enough honey on my hives. It finally got warm enough to go into the hives and couldnt believe the frames of full capped honey. I pulled 6 deep frames out of 2 hives and most of the other frames had lots of honey in the rear parts of the frames. They just started laying and no capped brood yet but were starting to fill some spaces with nectar so I put in some frames of wax foundation to replace what I pulled. I now have twenty medium and 6 deep frames of honey but partially made while I was sugar feeding. Dont know what to do with it! Dont want to let the frames get robbed clean as that may start problems and anyway they will just stuff it back in and I fear being honey bound. Should I dilute it and feed to encourage brood? I will be making splits but will not get queens till June and likely not able make their own queen much before either. No drones yet or even capped drone brood.
