I got this from a tree cutter last fall. The bees have made it through the winter and are increasing now. It's time for a cut out. We will be doing it on Apr. 17th, weather permitting. Anyone in this area that is interested, you're invited. It will be several hours of fun.

300 lbs. lighter should make the job easier.

Did you find any queen cells in the combs?

A few, not yet capped. It would have been another week before they swarmed.

We sure did hate to miss that! We have a tree to take care of this year but haven't decided whether to cut it out or trap it. You sure did make the cut out look like fun!

It was fun. For all that was there. I'm hoping Zulu will post the pics he took of it.
