Mostly for Nubees but it might trip up a few others.

    # 1 - What is it? (It is not intened to be used for personal hygiene in any way)

    # 2 - Same question, what is it? (I have it, but haven't ever used it)

    # 3 - While Iddee has been known to use this to cook up bits of road kill when he's away from home working his bees, it is not it's intended purpose. What is it?

    # 4 - What kind of wax is this?:dontknow:

I don't think I qualify for a newbee anymore, so I will hold my answers.
    I know #'s 1, 2, and I think #4, but you got me on #3.

I've got one like your #1 Perry !!! Mine bends in a different way.

Very handy for getting Boy Scouts out of horse's hooves.

    2.Queen Marking Tube.
3.looks like it would heat or melt wax to embedd or attach starter strips or make queen cups OR? I would bet Iddee has used one at some point.

We have a few correct answers

    # 1 - is indeed a frame cleaner. It is used for scraping out the wax from your frame grooves when you replace foundation.

    # 2 - is in fact a queen marking tube

    # 3 - This might have been a little unfair to those living in the USA because I don't know if it's legal for you to use it there. (No, it's not something like a hooka pipe or other illegal drug parphana, drug pharapa, drug parapanail.......... drug equipment!)

    # 4 - ski has the nod here, it's cappings wax (light and fluffy)

Congrats on those who gave correct answers, I'll leave # 3 up for a bit to see if anyone can still get it!

I don't know what #3 is but with that clue I will ponder another guess.
How about you load the cup with a chemical stick it in the hive it heats up giving off fumes to kill mites.

There it is! The last answer.

It is an Oxalic acid vapourizer (made by Varrox) You put in 2 grams of Oxalic acid, slide it in the hive entrance, seal off the entrance and hook it up to a battery. Kills all phoretic (exposed) varroa, so it is only used during broodless periods.

23 minutes is giving them more time??

I thought they would get it when I said it was an incense burner. Oxalic is the only thing I know that you burn inside the hive.

Ski, I think you knew, but just didn't connect the dots.

#1 is very familiar in grooved side/end bar land.

The example shown is rather battered. Should anyone wish to make one of these, I find it better if the pointed end is not bent to as large an angle as 90 degrees. A shallower angle is better for getting into the groove at the junction of side bar and top bar.
