We have this thing going on called Uncommon Common Art. What it is, is a series of artists have created several pieces of art, to which members of the public are entitled to "borrow". The only provision is that they must then be passed on. I came into possession (at the bank of all places) of "Reba #13" and thought this might make for a couple of good pictures, and have since passed Reba on. She came for a visit with the rest of the girls and was last seen heading downtown!
I was tempted to take some grafts if Reba could have been persuaded, just think of the honey haul.

Just think how big a frame of drawn comb would be, cells as big as a milk jug!

Getting her properly mated could be a problem.

I want her for the fair display. What was written on her wings? have a clean picture of the wing top? Very cool Bee and the idea.

    Hilarious responses. :rolling:

Apis, I regret not taking a better picture of her wings which had bee trivia and pearls of wisdom regarding bees on them.
I will try and track her down and see if I can track her progress. It is a great idea to bring art into peoples lives. All it takes to bring it to a screeching halt is for one person to decide that it will become a permanent fixture in their home though.

I thought it was pretty funny to see where the bee will end up at, kind of like the kidnapped gnome on vacation.

That's a good idea. Hope Reba enjoys her travels.
