My former supervisor in on a medium-term assignment in China and was back in the states this week and bought a jar of honey to take back. Hoping she gets through customs and such with it in her checked bags. It's sealed and clearly labeled as to it's contents. Feels good to EXPORT something to China especially honey:thumbsup:

Liquid.... in a jar....on an airplane....."Turned 21 in prison doing life without parole"
Of course; if she tastes it to prove it's not an explosive, and then everybody else tastes it to corroborate that its honey.....

Should be okay in checked bags, wouldn't get past the Peoria airport TSA in carry-on.

I agree with the above poster, "I'm thinking it will be OK in checked baggage." Flying has become a real pain in the butt. My knee replacement sets of all the warning bells. Hell, I think it set of the alarms in nearby airports.

Unfortunately, this is probably our largest and only export to China this year. :)

I have indirectly shipped honey to China. you do want to pack the honey in plastic and some label on the bottle is essential. inspectors, at least at this end of the line, are quite likely to open the bottle and smell the contents.
