I noticed a few minutes ago that there were many bees, at least 100 bees or more, just walking around in the yard as far as 20 feet around and under my beehives. Any ideas what's going on?

Glad to see you finally posted. :D

I would look first for deformed wings. It sounds like you may have a mite problem.

I think this is Russ, isn't it?

    Yes this is Russ
I've never seen this before. They look fine. Just lazily walking around. Thought it could be pesticides.
I noticed in my garden lately that I saw a few bees just walking around, but didn't think much of it until now.

I would pinch one or two and check it for mites.

if you notice deformed wings then likely varroa mites. if you do not notice deformed wings than like trachael mites.
