Warre w/ Buckfasts - should I requeen?

    Warre w/ Buckfasts - should I requeen? 2 months in, spotty brood pattern, only 6 bars with comb.

    from the looks of your pics, I do not see any capped brood except for drone cells. Did you see a queen in the hive?

    It looks like you either have a laying worker, a very poorly mated queen or a very young queen that has not started laying yet. I did see what looked like remnants of two queen cells that had been torn down.

    Did you see any eggs in the cells, if so how were they laid? single egg in the bottom center of the cell, 2 to 3 eggs in the bottom center of the cell, several eggs stuck to the side of the cell???

    Need just a little more to go on please.

    I will go back for another inspection to get a closer look at egg placements. I have read up on laying workers and will look for the tell-tale multiple/side-cell eggs. I have a feeling this is the case.

    Here is a photo from a few weeks ago http://i.imgur.com/cKjqz.jpg ; you can see eggs in the combs in the middle of the photo. They don't look centered to me.
