Washboarding?

    I think this is some washboarding behavior.

    These are the facts:

    This is my boomer of all colonies. A purchased NUC from Ga.

    They are meaner then all get out.

    I have seen what looks like supercedure cells as of last week, but not swarm calls in the bottom edges of frames.

    My inexperience is not telling me what is happening or how to stop it. (In regards to possible swarming)

    There seems to be a few bees doing the shuffle alright. :Dancing:

    What are they doing, when they shuffle??

    They are cleaning the porch. Nothing to worry about.

    While some people say we don't really know why they display that behavior, I am seeing it the first day or so with all of my new colonies...I believe they are cleaning or marking their territory...
