Wax moths

    Here's a question if there are wax larva wiggling around on the bottom of the hive what does this mean? Are the bees cleaning house or what new help this is a new hive I just got from a cut out I'll try an take some pictures tomorrow

    I cleaned the bottom board off today this is what they look like

    the bees are kicking them down, one of those moments when a screened bottom board comes in handy, with an oiled sticky under it. many of those are small enough to be pushed through by the bees
