Our son got married this Saturday. Every guest received a 500 grams jar of honey. Label was designed by our newlyweds.

Everything was perfect, small lake resort, bride and groom, family and friends, wine, food and weather. Had a great band of professional musicians, party ended at 4 a.m. Sunday.

Very nice! my twins are getting married in March and May next year, too soon for a honey harvest.

I could give away a bee in a jar to each guest, but something tells me it wouldn't work out well.

That's a nice label,i've sold 2oz. bears for wedding gifts (twice now) and had people rave over it. Be sure to put your name, addrest, and phone#, on it, i got alot of study customers from those two weddings. Jack

Can't take the credit, idea stolen while visiting a website of a beekeeper in Canada (don't remember which part)
They are offering their standard labels, or clients can bring their design (extra charges)
Also, working with wedding planners can make you busy, year around.
Thanks on congratulations, both, my wife and I are happy with our son's choice.

Handsome couple! Those jars of honey make a very personal touch. An officer in my local bee club did something similar at her daughter's wedding.

So the hive has been split. Let's hope the new hive gets well established and doesn't disappoint.

Congratulations to you. Congratulations to the young couple. Congratulations to your bees for having been so nicely and symbolicly represented at the event.
