I think that's where they filmed a lot of the Stargate episodes.
I'm sure the guys who own that logging company would love to 'hug' all the last remaining ancient redwood trees as well.

Hi Perry ,no I haven't been to cathedral grove ,but it looks cool.
a neighbor here was clearing a line for a new fence and he asked me if I was a tree hugger.... I told him yea I gave each tree a big hug just before I fired up my husquevara (sp?).
I like to wrap a nice pot belly stove around the tree on a cold day before I hug it.
