I went and looked at a swarm this evening. It just formed. It's about 10 to 12 feet up on a limb. I took a screened bottom board, a deep and top cover. 3 frames of old comb and the rest wax foundation. I drizzled the old comb with some honey I have from a cutout. I also put some honey on the front landing board at the entrance. Then I sat this hive tight under the swarm about 3 ft of the ground. It was starting to get dark. What do you think? I mean, what more could a swarm ask for, a nice big home, already pulled comb drizzled in nice raw honey, sitting 6 feet from them  Going out with ladder and bee vac tomorrow afternoon and see what happens. They can go voluntarily or take a quick ride through a vacuum hose. Either way they are going in the box.
