What are the chances of smoking out a swarm in a tree that is less then a week old? Any thoughts
Slim to none.
And Slim left town.
That's what I figured. I'm checking it out tomorrow but the owner says its 20-25 feet up and doesn't like the idea of paying anything and I'm not too keen on getting on a ladder for free.
No pay, they stay!
Not worth the risk of it when you can buy bees cheaper than an ER visit!!
Once she starts to lay eggs it is just about impossible to get them to move off of it.
Kind of what I'm thinking, sad part is I have a pretty good idea the home owner will just kill them.
Owner said he'd pay but after talking to him some more he decided to leave them for now. I told keep my number and when they swarm next spring or the tree falls down call me.
