I just extracted my summer honey this afternoon, and in order to make the frames manageable when I put them back on the hive, as always, I scraped the propolis from the frames and the boxes. For years I've been doing this but haven't used this valuable hive product for anything more than chewing on it like chewing gum when I get a sore throat.
Once, a commercial firm wanted to buy some from me but when I quoted the going price, he backed down.
So I'm stuck with cans full of propolis in my shed and cups filled with it in my freezer.
What practical suggestions can anyone give my for making use of it.

I scrape it onto the linoleum. It keeps my wife's adrenalin flowing.

I heard once that Stradivarius used it in the varnish he spread on his violins--but I don't do that kind of fancy woodwork. :guitarplayer:

It usually winds up stuck to the bottom of my shoes.
