When is the best time to re-queen

    If one was to re-queen every year when would be the best time to do so?

    My opinion, in the fall, in time for the new queen to raise two brood cycles before winter.

    the best time for me to requeen. Let me see ah yes I let the girls decide when they need a new queen. of course in less I dont like the genetics of a certain hive then I will send her to the gallos and will swap some frames from a hive that i believe to have the better genetics with the hive I want requeened. Then let them raise a new queen.
