Hi Folks, It has been a while since I had to ask a noob question. I suppose the answer will be general and specific considering location will be a big variable. So, here it goes. The 1st year was easy when to know it was time for honey supers, 80% of deep DRAWN with comb is ideal. Now, the question is for second year hives and beyond concerning supering. If I have fully drawn deeps, does it now move to 80% FILLED with brood/pollen/honey before supering? And does, flow play into this equation?
