I don't know why this stuff is so hard to find! Have you tried a local mom and pop hardware store? That's where I had to go to get mine.

bought a roll recently from Home Hardware. It had to be ordered from central warehouse but took less than a week. 36" X 50' was something around $90.00. It is nowhere as heavy a wire as the prefabbed stainless steel screened bottoms I have seen but it is much cheaper. Ace hardware stores should be able to bring it in similarly.

Perry, no, even I wasn't that silly. I got mine from Amazon. I thought the guy at Ace was going to die when he looked it up in the catalog and found out the order was for 250 feet.

Thank you. Looks like amazon has the 4' width.

Eddy. Thanks. I went there last week and all they can get is 3' width and it was 180 per 100 feet.

I am making screened migratory pallets and need 4' wide.

""I am making screened migratory pallets and need 4' wide.""

WHY? Two 10 frame hives are only about 32 inches wide. 36 in. wire should be more than wide enough.

There's an old time hardware store in Alloway, NJ. It's right next to the brickyard. I'll ask him.

I got mine at ACE, you can order it on line and have it delivered for free to the nearest store of your choice.

Brushy Mountain sells 36" wide sections by the foot. There is a Brushy Mountain store in PA -that might be close enough for you to drive to.

Boy those 6 hive pallets are cool! Reminds me I still need to build my fancy hive stand that is more ant proof tomorrow. My day off is going to be busy. I got my #8 hardware cloth at an online hardware store through Amazon.
