Greetings!

In the near future i am moving to the Netherlands and I am hoping on starting a beekeeping hobby somewhat soon after, therefore I would like to gather as much information as possible from scratch. Starting with what type of Species i should go for.
I am aware Beekeeping is rising in popularity in Europe, however i also know that the increase of the honey bee population is causing the decline of Wild Bee populations, which will have consequences on the ecosystem and our food supply.
I'm not expecting to make money as it is going to be a hobby but I am wondering if there are any species of wild bees that you are able to Keep and or produce honey?

Regards,
Argo

I provide food and shelter (wildflowers and I don't cut down the tree the woodpecker modified) for mason bees, but they do not make honey.
