It's just got to be good!
We met friends at Paddy's Pub in Wolfville for lunch yesterday and I saw this on the "menu". I couldn't help myself.

Is that beer or is it a pear cooler? looks like a pear on the can but with the glare, it could be a lemon also. So was it good? Who makes it?

It's a pear cider, made in England. (6%) Yes, it was light, and good.

Maybe it's the first good thing pears are good for. Just my opinion, don't like the texture and the taste, the shape, or the color.

Apis, have you ever had a glass of pear brandy? Made from William pear - in North America called Bartlett.
Unique taste and flavour. Very strong, no more than two shots recommended.
From time to time there are 0,75 liter bottles in LCBO stores available. Import from France. Price around $80.00
Had five bottles saved for my son's wedding this September, all got emptied in no time. Good stuff.
