wondering what kind of paint

    hey friends i finaly got me some bees from a friend his swarmed a very nice bunch of bees and i took my old box over and now im waitting on them to seal up everything befor moving them.i was wondering what would be a good paint to use on the outside of my hive i got a new one and i jave some latex paint for the porch was wondering if it would be wise to use what i had left over. thanks for any help i can get hope everyone has a good year with there bees

    Latex will work just fine, if you paint the top and bottom edges let them dry good before stacking together or they will stick together.

    What ever is FREE !!

    Yard sale freebies is the best;
    latex, oil, or what ever, is best for the outside of the hive.
